- DYECOHELL™ - Heimplanet main fabric – called DYECOHELL™ – is a dope-dyed nylon yarn construction with excellent abrasion resistance and colour fastness. Dope-dyed fabrics use a fraction of the water, CO2, energy, and chemicals of conventional fabrics. This replaces the most environmentally damaging process in textile production – dyeing. Learn more.
- Roll-Top Opening - The Commuter Pack has a magnetic roll-top closure, so you can adjust the volume of the backpack as needed. Ideal if you need to stow a jacket or spontaneously go shopping in the evening. With an aluminium G-Hook closure, the Commuter can be securely closed and compressed.
- Lateral Compartment - A zippered pocket on the side of the backpack is good for smaller items that need to be quickly at hand, such as keys or the cell phone charging cable.
- Gurte - On shoulder straps and on the bottom of the Commuter Pack are attachment points for the Carry Essentials hip and waist belt set (sold separately).
- Laptop Sleeve - Inside the Commuter Pack is a lined 15-inch laptop compartment. The laptop compartment ends a few centimetres above the bottom of the backpack, so that the laptop does not hit the ground even if the backpack shakes.
- Hover Pocket - The Hover Pocket on the front has its own volume. Between Hover Pocket and backpack wall can be comfortably threaded through the jacket when it gets too warm. The hover pocket also serves as a trolley loop, so you can easily slide the backpack on the handle of a rolling suitcase.
