How do I clean and maintain the Desk Mat?

The top vegan leather surface is designed to help protect your desk surface and is water-repellant, so you can simply wipe it clean. If you do stain the soft bottom felt layer, we recommend gently brushing the area with warm soapy water.

Over time, will this curl up?

Orbitkey Desk Mat has been designed and made to last. There is a thin polycarbonate reinforcement sheet embedded in the top surface of the Desk Mat. This reinforcement sheet helps maintain the flatness of the surface.

How many sheets of paper can I fit inside the Document Hideaway?

3x A4 sheets across. Maximum of 15 pages per document/stack.

How many cables can I hold with the Cable Holder?

The Cable Holder can hold one cable at a time with a diameter of up to 6mm. For thin cables, you might be able to hold 2 at a time.

Can I use the Cable Holder without the Desk Mat?

Whilst we recommend using the Cable Holder only with the Orbitkey Desk Mat, the Cable holder is magnetic and will work with any magnetic surface. We’ll leave it to your imagination. ;)

How would this react to the heat coming from the laptop and coffee? Will these leave marks or dents?

It will completely be ok with the heat coming from the laptop. Whether or not it will be ok when you put a cup of coffee on it really depends on how hot you like your coffee. A good rule of thumb is, if it’s too hot to hold with your hand, it’s probably too hot to hold for the Desk Mat.

Does the Desk Mat contain any electronic components?

No, it doesn’t.
