Winner of the 2023 Red Dot Award, the Wingback Mechanical Pencil delivers an exceptional writing experience. There are two versions available: one made from aerospace-grade brass and the other from aerospace-grade stainless steel. Both models features a stylish knurled grip and a refined finish, perfect for elevating your sketching and writing experience.
Designed with a wide diameter and ergonomic shape, the pencil minimises hand fatigue during prolonged use, while its weight ensures a well-balanced feel. A simple click on the crown activates the mechanism, readying it for sketching or note-taking.
Each pencil includes high-polymer, break-resistant lead, offering smooth and consistent lines with every use. Its precision-engineered mechanism provides reliable performance, making it a trusted tool for creative endeavours.

Considerations:
- Stainless Steel doesn't require additional care. This pencil will withstand almost anything you can throw at it without losing a shade of its original glory.
- Brass will develop a unique patina as its surface oxidises and interacts with the natural oils in your skin. This pen will quickly look like a timeless tool, but can easily be polished back to its original lustre.
If the mechanism stops feeding lead, you can disassemble and maintain it by following these steps.
- Hold the tip and twist the barrel anticlockwise to open the pencil, then set the casing aside.
- Unscrew the cone to reveal the mechanism, then unscrew the tip of the mechanism to reveal the retractable lead sleeve.
- Remove lead from the tip, then unscrew the top of the mechanism to open the lead barrel and remove the refills.
- Clean all mechanism parts thoroughly by wiping them with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
- Dry if necessary.
- Reassemble the pencil and it should be good as new. (So long as you don't forget to refill with lead).
